It's like a creative leader from a big agency had a baby with an AI robot.
But in an exciting
future of creativity way.
Not in a creepy dystopian kind of way.

I'm Wil Boudreau (and that's Petunia, my hound dog). I grew up at BBDO New York where I rose from copywriter to Executive Creative Director of one of the agency's biggest creative groups. I also did a stint as Chief Creative Officer of BBDO Atlanta, where I doubled that office's size with new biz wins. I went indie just before COVID hit and accidentally started an ad agency. I originally called it Boudreau Advertising because of my great disdain for cute agency names. But I renamed it A Word From Wil to signal a shift from traditional team building to an AI powered micro agency. Although I still hire other humans: designers, planners, account people, sometimes caterers, when needed of course. My mission is to deliver big agency quality creative ideas to clients who normally could never afford them. And I'm having way too much fun doing it. I'm busy. But I wake up every morning excited about what I can create today. Let's have a word about doing something awesome together.

Big Agency Work
Just a little bit of my big agency work. For much more, including brands like E*Trade, Snickers, Pizza Hut and Guinness click below.

I did a few Super Bowl spots while at BBDO NY, but this one my team and I did at BBDO Atlanta is my fave, and yes that is the voice of
President John F. Kennedy.

While at The & Partnership NY we created this working farm in
a freight container on a street in NYC to celebrate the
Wall Street Journal's "Future of Everything Festival"

Before there was Tik Tok, there was Vine by Twitter, and right after
it was launched my team at BBDO NY created this multi-award winning series for Lowe's for about $5,000.
